I ended up purchasing the 2017 version and, wow! What a plug in! You can select any starting point in your tree and with only two or three clicks, compile and print a book for that line of your tree that includes not only the ancestors and their family and descendants but will include any images and documents that were saved for each ancestor along with documenting all of your references. Then I ran across a plug in for Family Tree Maker called Family Book Maker. It is a great resource and what’s even better, the work you do in Ancestry can be synced to Family Tree Maker so both programs are up to date with your latest revisions and additions. I have been using Ancestry as my primary family tree builder but ran across the Family Tree Maker program that offers considerably more flexibility in how your tree appears and how you can manipulate data.
